I learned jewellery making at Vancouver Commmunity College

When I was a student there VCC offered jewellery making courses on a part time basis. Since then they also developed the fabulous full time program Jewellery Art & Design

 

If you love sculpture & want to be more involved I recommend the Sculptor's Society of BC site.

Those of you who are designers will want to learn more about the Society of Graphic Designers. If you are a professional designer, student of design, or work in a design related field you will find that this organization has much to offer.

 

The BC Alliance for Arts and Culture is a diverse community that connects across disciplines to build a stronger cultural sector in British Columbia. They are advocates for the arts and offer many services including job postings, events, an interesting and informative blog, news, and more. Their newsletter is well worth signing up for.

 

Opus Art Supplies is where I purchase most of my art & design supplies. They have several locations & offer a

large variety of items.
